This week has been a bit of a crazy week for our team, as we wrapping up our project this weekend. The project I have been working on has been an interesting, challenging and quite different from my first project. This is one of the things I love about Accenture, diversity.
Diversity not only with the projects I have been assigned so far and the work I have been conducting, but also with the people I work with. Accenture employs people from all different cultures, from all different degree types. Prior to starting Accenture I completed a Bachelor of Science majoring in Plant Science and Ecology. I also work with a Chemical Engineer, a Structural Engineer and a couple of colleagues with IT degrees. I believe it makes the workplace interesting as everyone has a different perspective to add given their background.
Although it has been a bit of a hectic week in the office, it has been nice to unwind and socialise with Accenture colleagues outside of the office. We recently had our Christmas Party which is always a memorable night.
This year’s Christmas party was held at a private venue called Mirra. The night consisted of celebrating with champagne, canapes and live music. It was nice to catch up with friends from inside and outside my project account.
