Commercial and Supplier Management Manager
The CSM team supports both internal and client account teams to perform key activities that help maximize value and minimize risk to Accenture when suppliers have been identified as critical components of a solution. The CSM Management team serves as a single point of contact for internal Accenture business stakeholders to support them with the development of their supplier strategy & ecosystem, provide program management support involving third party IT Suppliers activities, and assist with supplier selection, onboarding & governance efforts.
This position supports Accenture’s business and is focused on coordinating and driving supplier activities across stakeholders, Accenture leadership, engineering, procurement, legal and supplier teams. Suppliers are managed on a day-to-day basis, completing contractual agreements aligned with the stakeholders’ requirements and implementing operational procedures and governance models that help ensure contract compliance.
This position requires you to be a strong negotiator and relationship builder, as you will be negotiating deals with suppliers on behalf of Accenture. It requires you to be a project manager, ensuring team members complete governance activities in a timely manner. It also requires you to be a strong leader to be the primary point of contact for one or more supplier relationships, driving / managing all commercial activities from requirements gathering to negotiation to contract completion, and ensuring that Legal, Procurement and the suppliers are getting everything they need to get contracts completed in a timely manner. Once a contract is in place for your supplier(s), you will drive/manage operational activities on a day-to-day basis, bringing issues to resolution, reporting on current supplier status and managing to the supplier contracts.
This position may also support the hiring manager with large deals and special projects.
