Descripción De La Posición
• Responsible to manage a lease portfolio and ensure compliance with the new lease accounting standard rules (ASC842 – USGAAP, IFRS16 & ASC840).
• Capture all new leases and contractual term modifications in Real Estate leases adhering to the accounting rules mentioned above.
• Monitor balance sheet reconciliations related to lease accounting process. (USGAAP and Local GAAP)
• Perform post- close variances analysis(BS & P&L).
• Prepare and review lease disclosures required for the financial statements.
• Proactively communication with all stakeholders to validate lease agreement interpretations and ensure accurate valuation.
• Work with the Corporate Real Estate group/Global Controllership/Local Controllership and Global GAAP team on all aspects of Real estate accounting including ad hoc projects.
Requisitos
• Accounting or business administration degree.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance roles.
• Solid knowledge in MS office package (specially in Excel and Power Point).
• Advance proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
• Accounting background with strong analytical skills.
• Positive attitude and flexibility.
• Excellent time management and task prioritization abilities.
• Sense of responsibility, proactivity, and high-quality work standards.
• Experience with SAP is highly recommended.
• Knowledge of the new lease accounting standard rules (ASC842/IFRS16/ASC840) is a plus.
