The Team
Finance Strategy & Enablement (S&E) is a global team within the Finance Corporate Function. The team shapes our Finance Strategy supporting each Finance Function Lead to develop a functional transformation roadmap and to prioritize the programs that deliver that transformation.
Strategy & Enablement ensures that day-to-day activities across Finance are supported by robust and compliant processes, user centred solutions and application support fundamental to the overall success and transformation of Finance. It also leads a broad range of key programs and change journeys, drives improvements in technology performance and reimagines our processes with the application of new technology in collaboration with CIO.
This role
The Global Strategy and Enablement (S&E) Finance Program and Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of their assigned Finance team, including directing communications, managing the promotion process across multiple countries, annual and regular financial and people processes, policies, program management, training, tools, and capability delivery, as required by the function they support.
This role owns key processes or assists the lead in managing team engagement, budgets, and related reporting.
This role may support one or more Finance teams. The successful candidate will interact closely with the leadership team of the functions they are assigned to.
Main responsibilities
- Manage the team’s operations. This includes but is not restricted to financials, resources, and communications. This requires ensuring best practices are followed, by working with the Finance key contacts across HR, Communications, Change Management, etc.
- Advise and support the team’s Leadership in the day-to-day operations of the team.
- Provide support to leadership meetings (drive the agenda, prepare materials, meeting cadence, etc.).
- Act as PMO for discrete projects as prioritized by leadership.
- Support ad-hoc inquiries/questions for all team members.
Financial management
- Provide input to the Core Finance team on:
- the team’s annual budget and bi-annual forecasts.
- the monthly financial results and variance analysis
NB: this data is gathered and managed by the Core Finance team, and this role provides input to it.
Depending on the Finance team supported, this role may require the following:
- Quarterly analysis of outstanding liabilities to ensure accurate reporting of results. This requires requesting unbilled amounts from vendors and liaise with the appropriate teams for them to process journal entries.
- Creation of purchase orders and T360 legal matters.
- Working with Procurement.
- Management of the subscription inventory, renewal and access.
- Coordination of quarterly policy updates.
Resource management
- Liaise with hiring managers and local recruitment teams to fill open roles.
- Maintain organizational charts and oversee movements. Keep a record of new joiners, promotions, departures and transfers.
Communications across the team
- Oversee the communications team or carry out communications tasks when needed.
E.g. maintain the team’s Viva Engage/MS Team channels, coordinate the group in charge of organizing the team’s quarterly global townhalls, maintain the team website on the Accenture Finance website, etc.
Requisitos
Education, skills and experience
- Experience working with the Accenture Core Finance Team
- Experience working on global teams
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to establish credibility with and manage diverse stakeholder groups within Accenture
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, to be able to operate with the most senior Finance stakeholders
- Experience in headcount and blueprint management including:
- Headcount pyramid
- Strong understanding of blueprint structure, profit center, and cost centers hierarchy and people hierarchy
- Strong understanding of Finance functions, must have a big picture view of Accenture Finance and the ability to communicate this to stakeholders across the businesses
- Project management skills
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Accenture
- Experience in finance roles is desirable
- Working knowledge of Ariba, T360 and supplier Hub is an advantage.
