We are the sales lab that works with offering leadership, equipping them with relevant market insights, tailored messaging, and curated sales assets to originate, sell, and win.
M&A Solution Advisory. Within the Strategy & Consulting Global Network, our global M&A Solution Advisory team is an extension of Accenture Transaction Advisory practice. We work with M&A and Private Equity practitioners, functional / industry subject matter experts, and client account leadership to help client teams to originate deals, develop conversation starters and discussion documents, craft tailored proposals and preliminary outside-in analyses.
You are:
M&A Solution Advisory Manager. An experienced manager who is comfortable working with senior Accenture stakeholders. You have an executive presence and deep expertise in Mergers and Acquisitions. Well versed with what it takes to win consulting work, allowing you to build trust and to effectively partner with the managing directors leading the offering or drive the client pursuit. While being client facing is not necessary for this role, you exemplify client-centricity and a commitment to client value creation.
What would you do?
The M&A Solution Advisor will typically develop proposals around deal planning, transaction execution and value creation, for corporate and financial investors, in line with Accenture’s dedicated end-to-end offerings:
- Pre-deal support, e.g., market assessment, target screening / profiling, due diligence
- Merger integration, e.g., day 1 readiness / execution, post-close support, transition to end-state, value capture
- Carve-out and divestiture, e.g., carve-out design, divestiture day 1 execution, new entity set-up / transition to standalone, TSA management, stranded cost management
- Corporate / portfolio strategy, e.g., operating model design / digital transformation, re-platforming, capability scale-up, growth and portfolio strategy
- M&A capability development, e.g., capability maturity assessment, new capability set-up
The M&A Solution Advisory Manager (North America) acts as an extension of the client team, developing content for all or parts of the proposal depending on the scale and complexity of the opportunity. The M&A Solution Advisory Manager provides a single point of contact for internal clients who need content, research or graphics support, building and managing relationships with stakeholders and developing trusted partnerships with them.
What are we looking for?
- Structured thinking with a quantitative mindset
- 5–8-year experience working on transaction management assignments and M&A programs in a client delivery role
- Knowledge of the transaction deal lifecycle, both pre- and post-deal, including M&A constructs and definitions, allowing you to build trust and effectively partner with the managing directors leading the Transaction Advisory practice
- Familiarity with business development work and proposal development / writing experience
- Mastery of English at a professional level (oral and written)
- Executive oral and written communication skills (clarity, consistency, conciseness)
- Confidence working under time pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Proven relationship management skills at all levels and ability to manage in a professional setting
- Collaborative attitude for working and interacting with deal teams effectively in a virtual environment
- Proficient use of PowerPoint and Excel to structure slides and spreadsheets

Role and Responsibilities
- Helps to create winning proposals for corporate clients and financial investors, in some cases end-to-end, interacting with Transaction Advisory practitioners across Accenture, industry and functional subject matter experts, and other teams as needed
- Creates trustful relationships with the Transaction Advisory practice leadership to support deal origination, e.g., sales pitches, initial client conversations, positioning papers, other origination efforts
- Collaborates with deal teams through proposal storyboarding sessions and aligns content and messaging for conversation starters, proposals and oral presentations
- Helps to build and maintain sales assets, e.g., stage-0 decks, capability overviews, playbooks
- Harvests content collaboratively to help Accenture’s global knowledge management teams maintain a repository of the latest sales and delivery assets, e.g., credentials, proposals, deliverables, resumes
- Helps to coordinate work with other supporting teams (e.g., graphics designers, research analysts) to provide a single point of contact for internal clients
- Provides regular feedback to support team members and leads
