This role will be responsible for providing category management support for the LATAM HR category.
This person collaborates closely with Global, Regional and Country level colleagues to meet the objectives of P+ and its stakeholders. Some expectations include supporting global category strategy plans that align with internal stakeholder goals, reflect current marketplace conditions, and support P+ initiatives. This role will also support the negotiations of agreements with key strategic suppliers while driving innovation with these partners.
Manage the Procurement Plus HR category for LATAM:
• Manage direct reports including target setting, performance, career and training development
• Foster knowledge sharing between Global/Regional/local P+ and HR category resources
• Be a category transformation enabler by seeking cross category synergies and opportunities of alignment with stakeholders and the market
• Support the Global Corporate Services Category Director with the identification of stakeholders and definition of strategies
• Benchmark category practices with Global trends to identify initiatives for improvement
• Be aware of the impact of changing requirements, including legislation and policies
• Encourage team spirit through category community engagement
Ensure successful implementation of LATAM strategy and agreements:
• Coordinate resource allocation to support LATAM initiatives
• Lead Global category strategy development and implementation
• Ensure Regional/local negotiations and sourcing activities are in line with Global category strategy
• Support profitability (including business development) related to HR across the Global Accenture organization
• Promote the use of contracts and buying channels according to category strategies
Manage supplier and customer relationships for LATAM:
• Manage Global/Local supplier relationships in line with the Global Corporate Services Category Director, Global Category Leads and Future Enterprise strategy
• Develop and maintain effective strategic relationships with key internal customers and stakeholders
• Manage internal customer feedback on category organization & supplier performance
• Consolidate requirements and act as business partner across Functions and Subcategories
• Proactively organize a regular cadence of touchpoints with internal stakeholders to identify value contribution opportunities
• Ensure that input from stakeholders is considered in the category strategy and sourcing processes
• Manage a detailed pipeline of upcoming projects and opportunities gained from regular touchpoints with stakeholders
• Act as an escalation point for category related issues and drive resolutions in line with regional and/or Global targets
Perform category management activities for LATAM projects:
• Manage the category strategy implementation/execution for LATAM projects and initiatives
• Drive supplier performance by discussing lessons learned across different markets
• Involve stakeholders for actions related to supplier base optimization and Key Performance Indicator implementation
• Drive deep (add specific category) market intelligence into all aspects of the P+ value proposition to the business
