CORE and Global Services Legal (CGS) is a group of legal professionals working and supporting different legal areas such as Compliance, Regulatory Offerings, Ethics, Procurement, Corporate Matters and the Services Areas aligned with the new offerings and technologies such as Strategy & Consulting, Interactive, Technology, Security and Operations.

Strategic Partnering: This team supports the partnership relationships across Accenture’s ecosystems partners, which involves leading negotiations and manage master framework agreements. The team also provides business insights and shaping advice on commercial constructs and joint solutions with the global innovators of technology.

Role Summary – Support Accenture’s relationship with Partners globally. Draft, review and negotiate different types of agreements or legal documents in accordance with company policies and procedures and applicable laws. Project coordination and deal shaping.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Generic Responsibilities

  • Understands strategic partnering legal area needs and priorities, strategy, objectives, and opportunities 
  • Good understanding of relevant company policies applicable to support area (e.g., Policy 81)
  • Have and develop subject-matter expertise in the concerned support area
  • Act as a POC for business stakeholders and Strategic Partnering counsels
  • Understand, suggest, and encourage process improvements in the support area
  • Collaborate with tech teams in development of new tools or enhancement of existing ones
  • Create checklists and other escalation process documents
  • Represent GLN; directly liaison with internal stakeholders on various issues
  • Manage company´s tools and communication records
  • Participate in and support trainings for the team for upskilling and professional development
  • Support implementation of new initiatives in Strategic Partnering Legal or within Legal/GLN
  • Build credible and effective relationships with onshore counsels and within GLN team
  • Proactively try to ‘give back’ to GLN/Legal.

Specific Responsibilities aligned to Role

  • Independently draft and review and negotiate partnership agreements and other documents to be signed with partners, including but not limited to non-Disclosure agreements, Affiliate Addendums, third party compensation agreements, Collaboration agreements, MOUs, License agreements (Demo/Evaluation), Teaming Agreements, order forms, renewals and amendments, among others.
  • Collaborate with and support Strategic Partnering Legal Colleagues and GLN leads on the review and negotiation of the partnership agreements. 
  • Analyze and propose solutions to contract issues and business scenarios.
  • Independently handle the communication with internal clients, business teams and stakeholders on contract matters and status.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures and ensure that noncompliance issues are identified and resolved.
  • Support deal shaping opportunities, consulting as necessary with GLN leads or onshore counsel.
  • Ensure that all stakeholders are fully informed and engaged on a timely basis.
  • Execute tasks with autonomy and good judgement, independently providing effective solutions to encountered complexities and providing error-free work results.
  • Perform research of laws and regulations or technical aspects applicable to assigned requests.
  • Lead specific ad-hoc projects, coordinating team members and aligning with other areas.
  • Deliver training sessions to GLN team members on SME scope of work.
  • Help organize the onboarding and training of new joiners, ensuring the administrative processes are completed.
  • Project management ability to follow up with business leads to coordinate completion of open actions and projects.

Requisitos

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong experience in agreement drafting, review and negotiation, identifying risks and proposing solutions.
  • Demonstrate very good interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate autonomy, take ownership, and drive tasks to closure
  • Demonstrate promptness, accuracy and consistency with the activities supported   
  • Detail-oriented, sound judgement, and flexible
  • Strong time management, prioritization, organizational, and analytical skills
