The mission statement of Global Services Legal is to “drive sustainable business growth for Accenture by providing deep legal expertise at the intersection of business strategy, industry and technology in a highly dynamic environment.” The Global Services Legal team is a strategic partner and a product counsel towards the five Services under Accenture’s Next Generation Growth Model, i.e. Interactive, Strategy & Consulting, Industry X, Technology and Operations. We are a diverse team and our team’s mission is to help our business to grow in a responsible, inclusive, and sustainable way, by providing early-stage legal advice and support in relation to the key business strategies and priorities.

This team also functions as the integrator between various other parts of the Legal team, coordinating between the multidisciplinary areas of deep expertise across the wider Legal team, to deliver one holistic Legal perspective to the business.

The GSL Team is now looking for an attorney to serve as Applied Intelligence Services Counsel.

Applied Intelligence Services COUNSEL – GLOBAL SERVICES LEGAL

CL8 (ASSOCIATE Manager)

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with colleagues in the Global Services Legal teams to support the AI & Data CoE and the Accenture Responsible AI program.
  • Assessing new Applied Intelligence services and products, developing risk mitigation strategies and enabling the Applied Intelligence’s “go-to-market” strategy.
  • Enable Accenture’s Sales & Delivery Legal team to efficiently handle day-to-day contracting, including developing contracting templates and guidance and providing SME support to deal teams.
  • Help evaluate prospective acquisition targets and shape post-merger integration strategy.
  • Review, draft, and negotiate licenses, alliance, academic, and technology transaction agreements for client products and services.

Job Qualifications

Knowledge Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 4 yrs. relevant experience in a corporate or law firm setting
  • Candidates should have technical and business acumen, with a preference towards candidates with an understanding of (or desire to learn) the AI and data industry and regulatory landscape, including technologies and legal issues related to AI and Data products and services 
  • Experience in risk identification, analysis and mitigation strategies
  • Project management experience

Education and Qualifications

Education: JD and admission in good standing with applicable bar association(s) (or their local equivalents)
