Job Summary:

Sales & Pricing Performance provides end-to-end sales and pricing effectiveness, sales operations, and analytics services. Sales & Pricing Performance partners with teams around the world to deliver insights, improve acumen and win profitable deals.

This professional will work in the Account Planning Service.  He/she/they will support the Account Planning process, from helping to ensure the enablement of our digital tool (MMS), to creating reports for executive leadership, and understanding how to work across the Sales & Pricing Performance Center Of Excellence and with Sales & Pricing Performance Analytics.

This Specialist will support the Account Planning objectives, help enable the core Toolkit, work with Sales Operations to manage the process and capture the metrics and be a useful source of reference for the business partners and client account teams. 

You will be exposed to various types of projects. You’ll be responsible for gathering data, analyzing problems, discovering insights, formulating hypotheses, delivering recommendations, and driving the changes for the Sales & Pricing Performance team which will include activities such as creating content for various audiences, providing training and other enablement and creative engagement activities. Projects will support our Sales & Pricing Performance team, our services (processes), and/or the leaders and teams we support including special initiatives for our sales leadership.

Primary responsibilities include: 

  • Be a key team member for Account Planning.
  • This includes (but is not inclusive of all) the following type of deliverables- Content development and tools development related to Prepare and Create stages.  Ideally, this will mean the individual is proficient in Powerpoint as well as in MMS.  Preference is for deep and detailed knowledge of MMS
  • Team member will be expected to
    • Identify and connect where data should be aligned and sync’d
    • Understand how the pieces/parts of AP fit together
    • Help create and execute low to medium complexity workplans
    • Interact confidently with senior leadership within sphere of responsibility
    • Demonstrate knowledge of supporting tools and processes, with expertise in specific area of responsibility
  • Requires analysis and problem solving – and innate curiosity in how our data is woven together
  • Interaction is with peers within Accenture and some interaction with clients and/or Accenture management.

Qualifications:

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills in English – this role requires a confident communicator and team player with robust interpersonal skills and a “can-do” attitude
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and guidance, learning new responsibilities quickly
  • Ability to work virtually with diverse individuals
  • Excellent teaming, team building, collaboration, and facilitation skills
  • Excellent organizational / time management / data management skills
  • Analytical skills; collects, researches, and interprets data
  • Highly proficient in following and applying processes, quickly learning Accenture Sales processes and being able to recognize and apply them (previous familiarity preferred)
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Prioritizes and plans work activities with a high degree of personal organization and the ability to supervise/coach/mentor these skills in others
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, IE, Outlook), particularly skilled in PowerPoint presentations
  • Knowledge of engagement, collaboration, and facilitation tools a plus (community, reporting, survey, others)

Educational Qualification

Must have: 

Undergraduate, Bachelor’s degree

English language fluency (oral and written)

Good to have: 

Business Management education desirable

Skills & Work Experience

Must have: 

- A Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in Consulting, Sales or other similar roles

- Demonstrated experience working in a deadline driven environment with strong attention to detail

Good to have:

- Sales, sales related background

- Expert written and oral communication skills

- Excellent grammar and proofreading skills

- Strong time management and ability to work under pressure

- Ability to effectively communicate with senior management

Other requirements

Must support/mirror work hours for the supported Market Unit or other business area

Must be flexible with work hours according to business needs (e.g., when interaction/conference calls with team members in other time zones is required, at mid-month and month-end peak activity periods, when a critical issue requires immediate resolution, or when covering for a colleague in another area)

Must have good internet connectivity and distraction-free environment for working at home, in accordance with local guidelines

May be occasionally required to travel domestically or internationally
