Job Description:

The PMO Associate Manager helps organize and manage tasks/activities to contribute and add value to Future Enterprise Business Operations SDLs. The PM is the point of contact and responsible for proactively maintaining detailed workplans and coordinating team members to execute deliverables from start to finish. A Professional in this position will dwell in a visual environment. The position requires a combination of different project management skills as detailed below: 

Key Responsibilities:

  • PM: reporting, presentation development, scheduling meetings, organizing meeting agenda, taking meeting notes/minutes, follow-up on programs sponsors/PMOs, consolidating/track information, support on reporting and tracking process automation, keeping files on Teams updated
  • Proactively follow up on actions and escalate in a timely manner to SDLs
  • Consolidate information across SDLs
  • Support with planning and content for market communications (e.g. town halls) and ensure consistency across the markets
  • Skills Development Program:
    • Work with HR/Training to define skills baseline and target proficiency levels for different roles
    • Comms to ensure that our people’s profiles (incl skills)
    • Follow up and action if not updated recently
  • Support with driving a program to onboard people so job-ready
    • Eg self enabled Learning boards
  • Work with Demand Management team and SDLs to shorten the time to fill demand. Eg. basic things such as:
    • Refine role descriptions for the different types of work (increase the number of applicants)
    • Comms
    • What good looks like (eg. SLAs) for each of the steps within the process
  • Consolidating NA/Europe/GM status for single market status
    • Identify common themes, risks and issues.
  • Blueprints and Org Charts
    • Support blueprint clean up – link role descriptions to blueprints (repository)
    • Update to org charts to assist
    • Analysis to define differences between markets
  • Act as a point of a contact for projects, initiatives, and operations for an assigned area.
  • Manage relationships and work with key individuals.
  • Manage collaboration tools such as SharePoint, MS Teams etc
  • Assist with administration & delivery of projects
  • Assist in developing process frameworks

Must have

2+ years’ experience in Project Management, Performance Excellence, Business Architecture, Operational Excellence or Operational Improvement roles.   At least 3+ years within Accenture is preferred.

  • Project portfolio development and management
  • Strategic thinking (Ops strategy, strategic planning, etc.)
