Role Summary

  • Provide support to the Ethics & Compliance team or directly to Accenture Legal Professionals to address RFP responses, fill out Due Diligence questionnaires and review certifications.

  • Connect requesters with the relevant SME(s) from the appropriate E&C area team(s) for the review of contractual language (now this review will be redirected to SMEs).

  • Be responsible for escalation of potential risks and tracking guidance and correspondence, maintaining associated documentation, and updating standard Accenture responses. 


Generic Responsibilities

  • Understand process improvements in CORE support area and assist team in drafting checklists, process documents (e.g. the draft of workflow for the implementation of ECIRT Tool);

  • Manage SharePoint and SMEs´input records and train team members on the process by developing checklists and process documents;

  • Assist in introducing process measures for screening in line with changes in local and international laws (e.g. the proposed draft of new standard responses based on changes on legislation);

  • Provide individuals with positive and developmental feedback, and support any specific Legal Services training initiatives (e.g. close relations with CM to teach them about our scope and how to apply our guidance);

  • Provide assistance or support to Legal Services specific training (e.g. ECIRT training designed for CM);

  • Maintain records of and update input provided by SMEs within the different E&C areas (e.g. the creation of different repositories and the update of standard responses based on changes in legislation);

  • Create different resources for Legal Professionals to obtain guidance on E&C (e.g. the creation of FAQs);

  • Ensure excellence of output of CORE team members through guidance and review support (e.g. conducting effective QA of other team members' deliverable);

  • Support implementation of new initiatives in CORE support area or within Legal Services -in addition to allocated role (e.g. support in the implementation of different innovative ideas to improve ECIRT process);

Specific Responsibilities aligned to Role

  • Generate reports and provide regular updates on the daily activities and progress of tasks directly to the E&C Inquiries manager;

  • Escalate risks at the earliest opportunity and provide quick remedies to issues encountered;

  • Maintain and update records in SharePoint repositories.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, to clearly and concisely articulate ideas and Compliance principles, and to effectively address the key aspects of queries;

  • Have a general comprehension of basic practices of compliance related legislation;

  • Understand relevant company policies and exercises reasonable judgment to apply them and ensure compliance across client team engagements;

  • Understand company's interests while communicating with executives at all levels of the organization;

  • Demonstrate ownership of processes assigned and ensure that all stakeholders are timely engaged and informed on the relevant process enhancements;

  • Strong time management, prioritization and analytical skills;

  • Be meticulous and attentive to intricate details;

  • Be organized, flexible and focused at all times;

  • Communicate fluently in English with strong oral and written skills and be competent in delivering presentations;

  • Be efficient in conducting legal research;

  • Display high-level of responsiveness and follows through on commitments; and

  • Be proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills;

  • Display multicultural awareness, and ability to interact with stakeholders from multiple backgrounds and business specializations;

  • Be service oriented, understanding the boundaries of the role to effectively articulate with subject matter experts in each Compliance field, demonstrating our “One Legal” mindset.
