The Commercial Operations Manager is a fully integrated member of the client account commercial office team and works under the direction of commercial, account and project leadership to align commercial operations processes to leadership’s vision and strategic direction.
The general scope of accountabilities for this role include low to medium complexity project management of the commercial operations function and will assist in integrating in throughout the overall management of the account and its day to day operations. The role may share accountabilities across two smaller accounts depending on scope of accountability.
The role reports to the Commercial Director or Commercial Operations/Management Senior Manager for the account and works under moderate supervision and oversight. In the absence of the above-named roles, the role will generally report to a member of the client account leadership team.
The role will directly or indirectly supervise the work of commercial operations resources assigned to the account with a specific focus on PMO/operations, depending on scope of accountability, and may coordinate activities across other ancillary account and project-level support teams.
The role has interactions on an ongoing basis with client account leadership, delivery leadership, client project teams, commercial teams, and Accenture support teams.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Assist commercial and/or account leadership in communicating and executing the commercial vision for the account.
  • Participate in, and lead portions of the design, implementation and execution of account-level policies, procedures and standards to ensure smooth and controlled management of the account and delivery of services.
  • Ensure ongoing consistent adherence to commercial processes, procedures and standards, and manage issue and risk reporting on non-compliance to standards with commercial and account leadership.
  • Provide detailed complex analyses, metrics, and reporting as requested to report on the “state of the account.” This may include but is not limited to financial analyses, process compliance, staffing analyses, internal controls compliance, and others.
  • Provide general low to medium complexity project management services in organizing, planning and facilitating account meetings, report outs, quality audits/reviews, etc.
  • Supports commercial and account leadership in managing a fully integrated commercial operations team.
  • Participate in continuous process and business operations improvement initiatives at the account level within assigned scope of responsibility.
  • Assist account and delivery leadership in specific initiatives aimed at delivering successfully against the contract and client expectations.
  • Assist in preparation for commercial contract negotiations by coordinating preparation of materials, organizing human and physical resources, and other activities as needed.
  • Working under general direction from commercial and/or account leadership, provide general low to medium complexity project management support to various commercial office functions based on scope of accountability including, but not limited to:
    • Human Resources.
    • Demand planning/forecasting, staffing, resource management (onboarding/offboarding/roster maintenance), training management.
    • Financial Management
    • General financial processes, reporting and tracking
    • Contract Management/Legal
    • General contract processes, reporting and tracking
    • Sales
    • Opportunity pipeline management
    • Marketing and Communications
    • Employee communications, collaboration, social media
    • Quality
    • Quality review and audit processes, client expectations management

    • Information security and data protection, internal controls
    • Operations
    • General business and administrative support, meeting and event planning and management, administrative support, implementation of Accenture policy and best practices, metrics and reporting

Requisitos

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 
  • Ability to establish credibility as a member of the account management team and with other internal stakeholders in order to cultivate and maintain trust and mutual respect.
  • Ability to understand the commercial issues within the area(s) of accountability, prioritize accordingly, and ensure follow through and frequent communication with relevant stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate daily activities of multiple work streams, focused on issue resolution, while being an effective communicator and project manager. 
  • Familiarity with Accenture delivery methodologies, limitations, and service delivery capabilities.
  • Resilient, self-motivated, goal driven orientation.
  • Strong leadership presence.
  • Advanced English skills.
Education:  
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
Work Experience: 
  • 5-7 or more years of operational or related commercial management experience, ideally having medium to high exposure to or done work in all four pillars of commercial management.
  • 5 years of experience in managing low to medium complexity projects (including project planning, management, reporting, communications, issue resolution) involving one or more functional areas, work streams, or other units.
