P&A professionals will be equal team members on the Finance teams to which they are assigned, sharing ownership of business outcomes. Functionally aligned. Directly assigned.
 
Within Performance & Advisory we have five towers, collaborating as needed in order to achieve shared outcomes and shared success:

P&A Forecasting & Planning tower is jointly accountable for the forward-looking view into the health of Accenture’s business driving the submission of internal quarterly forecasts and annual plans, and continuously monitoring business portfolio performance indicators to advise leadership and manage landing position expectations. The advisory component of the job is key in order to originate value for Accenture.
 
At the core, the scope of the tower requires active participation in the planning and forecasting process with key areas of responsibility including:
 
  • Annual financial plan and quarterly forecast submissions that are reasonable, accurate, and aligned with Accenture ambitions, business aspirations and strategic goals
  • Upside & risk assessment to forward looking projections
  • Scenario planning and use of predictive analysis and stress tests
  • Stakeholder management including early warnings to leadership when a forecast goes off track; recommendation of corrective actions
 
The Forecasting & Planning Associate Manager will belong to the Global Cross Market team, which is responsible for the entire Forecasting & Planning capability, processes and tools, closely collaborating with CFOs and deputy CFOs, the professionals of the other P&A towers and the local and global Finance community.
 
 
The role requires working alongside and reporting directly to the global Forecasting & Planning lead.
 
 
Key Responsibilities include the following:
 
  • Contribute to building robust methodologies, tools and reporting to be used on global scale
  • Collaborate extensively with global, Markets and the Market Units F&P team, driving standardization, orchestrating processes and deliverables, developing best practices across the Markets. Provide financial or technical guidance to the team as necessary.
  • Make/propose improvements to deliverables collaborating with peers in the other Markets to develop standard best practice methodologies and operationalize within the Markets and the Market Units
  • Serve as escalation point for any Market and Market Unit related issues, coordination of Market and Market Unit level deliverables regarding annual planning, quarterly IFS forecasts and recurring projections as needed; provide training as necessary
  • Provide leverage to Global Finance leadership as required. Ensure they receive the appropriate information to manage their areas of responsibility; promote the usage of standardized reports and actively identify where gaps in reporting analytics may exist
  • Prepare global forecast dashboards and outline key outcomes
  • Prepare and enhance reporting as necessary; work with large databases and multiple data souses
  • Breakout of Organic and Inorganic revenue growth in global plan and forecasts
  • Consolidate at a global level the full plan/forecast P&L, including NCC
  • Provide early warnings when the plan/forecast goes off track or doesn’t meet Accenture ambitions. Alert the F&P Market’ leads or the MU F&P leads of significant issues, working collaboratively with stakeholders to address the issues
  • Contribute to any required analysis
  • Increase awareness of Corporate expectations
  • Drive Forecast Accuracy
  • Establish self as trusted source of business analytics with key stakeholders or key contributors
  • Leverage and build relationships within and outside of FBM including CFM, Services and Client Groups
  • Leverage standardized reporting inclusive of digital tools and analytics
  • Leverage corporate reporting on Planning and Forecasting, inclusive of CBP and MMB, as required, to provide analytics
  • Contribute to on-board new joiners, manage internal distribution lists, manage updates in Teams, maintain accesses roster in compliance with information security requirements


Requisitos

Basic Qualifications:
 
  • Education: Graduate degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Work Experience: 5 years+ professional experience in Finance
 
 
Professional Skill Requirements:
 
  • Expertise in financial modeling and predictive analysis; ability to drive key business insights from complex data
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the economics that drive our business with working knowledge of Accenture’s operating and economic models
  • Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams as a coach/supervisor
  • Executive presentation skills with effective communication and business advisory skills
  • Proactive attitude and self-motivated; takes ownership of tasks and work efforts
  • Ability to be flexible and work independently and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Ability to proactively identify areas for analysis or requiring attention; ability to interpret and synthesize recommendations from the analysis escalating and/or involving all parties required to achieve resolution. Timely and accurate preparation of management information is required with limited supervision necessary
  • Strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, with ability to work virtually and within virtual teams an essential requirement; confident dealing with finance and non-finance executives alike
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
  • Knowledge of IFS, SAP BR, MMB, CBP, MMS, Einstein Analytics, Accenture Economic and Operating Model, and Global standardized reporting
  • Advanced Excel skills. Proficient in MS Word, MS Outlook & MS Power Point
  • Knowledge of Power BI is a plus
  • Fluent English
 
Travel and Overtime Requirements:
 
  • Some overtime should be expected during critical peak periods
  • Ability to be flexible in a remote environment; may be required to attend conference calls out of normal working hours
  • Minimal travel may be required
