Job Summary
 
The FS NA CSG Lead Operations Sales Process (OSP) Practitioner helps Accenture executives in one or more CSGs navigating the company’s internal sales processes. The primary responsibilities of the role include opportunity pipeline management, new business meeting coordination, sales reporting/analysis for leadership, and process/application support for client teams. 
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide sales process support to client teams, entity leadership and other internal operations teams and interfacing functional areas
  • Understand global and entity policies and apply them correctly to real-life business situations
  • Manage business meetings (new business meetings/strategy reviews) for the entity including preparing agenda, advising client teams on required materials, preparing minutes of meeting, facilitating processes so that decisions are obtained during the allotted time, record decisions in the appropriate system(s) and follow-up on action items
  • Contribute to sales process knowledge and expertise during meetings and collaborative work efforts
  • Provide support in representing the organizational entity point of view in meetings and communications
  • Provide opportunity management tool and process training to end-users at all levels to ensure sales processes are executed appropriately
  • Provide general process and tool guidance on tools that interface with MMS opportunity management, e.g., QA and MMP, advising teams on what comes into MMS from the interfacing tools and how they can get further help and support on those interfacing tools.
  • Direct them to the proper contacts and resources for application training, security access, and technical support
  • Provide entity-specific communications and training for new releases of the opportunity management tool
  • Streamline processes and encourage client teams to enter information in an accurate and timely manner in the opportunity management tool
  • Work with client teams to maintain data in the opportunity management tool, or assign the work to another operations support area/person and ensure accurate results
  • Establish sales processes to keep information in the system accurate and up-to-date, communicating with key stakeholders as needed
  • Monitor the opportunity pipeline and ensure opportunities receive stage approval either at new business meetings or offline via email, according to global and entity guidelines
  • Prepare, analyze and interpret opportunity reports (e.g. pipeline, win/loss) for the entity
  • Supervise one OSP support analyst; note that the OU lead will be the career counselor for the analyst.

Education
  • Undergraduate degree in progress or completed
Work Experience
  • Typically has minimum of 2+ years of experience.
Work Requirements
  • May be required to occasionally travel domestically or internationally
  • May be required to occasionally work from home
  • May be required to occasionally attend out of normal working hours conference calls
  • May need to be flexible on work hours at critical sales reporting times, i.e. mid-month and month-end.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Accuracy and attention to details; prioritizes and plans work activities
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and guidance
  • Strong teaming skills
  • Analytical skills; collects, researches and interprets data
  • Highly proficient as end user of related operations tools and systems
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, IE, Outlook), particularly Excel
  • Understanding of Quality Management processes and policies
  • Thorough understanding of sales/opportunity management processes and policies (proficiency in SAP OM preferred)
  • Understanding of basic finance concepts for a services company
