Job Description
In today’s marketplace, sound financial management is the foundation for a successful business.  At Accenture, we would not be able to increase our growth and success as a large public company without financial integrity.  In all our Finance workgroups we look for individuals with strong financial management, analytic and strategic skills, but it’s not just about accounting and accounting principles. Our people are first-class program and project managers, who understand teamwork and communicate well with people at all levels.


In Corporate Controllership, our corporate accounting people co-ordinate the activities of country controllers, while other teams are responsible for the preparation and filing of external financial reporting, equity and minority interest accounting, partner retirement and executive compensation programs, defining financial policies, reviewing major proposed transactions for GAAP compliance, financial system security and developing controllership training, and designing globally consistent end-to-end efficient financial processes and adequate internal financial controls.


Key responsibilities may include:
• Preparing reconciliations for a variety of payroll, employee and tax related accounts; usually large volume and complex in nature
• Obtaining all necessary backup either systemic or manual to support journal entries
• Working with tax and payroll teams to understand their processes, which will result in easier matching of information within accounts
• Working with individuals responsible for initiating the entries to resolve discrepancies
• Proposing any necessary adjustments to ensure compliance with GAAP
• Documenting processes and procedures on an ongoing basis to allow for cross training and to display the necessary level of understanding of same
• Participating in internal or external audits, as required
• Completing all necessary quarter end work papers
• Participating in special projects as required

Basic Qualifications

• Degree/education in accounting or finance; CPA (or equivalent) preferred
• Ability to meet travel requirements, when applicable

• Required intermediate knowledge in english

• Required knowledge in Excell

• Required knowledge in US GAAP

• Nice to have knowledge in Access

• Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment
• Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
