Job Description
Research professionals utilize systematic investigation techniques to establish facts.
Main Responsibilities
-               Represent Accenture Research in client-facing situation, for instance in proposals and live presentations where a core part of the research solution resides in data modelling.
-               Develop and write research proposals and market and sell the capability to clients internally. Collaborate in raising awareness and understanding of economic modelling research tools and outputs in Accenture and Accenture Research (cross-section, panel data and time-series regression analysis, principal components and factor models, and other forecasting and econometric estimation techniques).
-               Build research assets that differentiate Accenture Research in the market, ie. forecasting of market trends, modelling of survey data to size markets, impact evaluation of technology innovation, etc.
-               Help develop a strategy for boosting the role of data modelling in current and future thought leadership for Accenture Research.
-               Interact and collaborate with our team of data scientists, ie. experts in data structuring.
-               Assist in growing economic modelling skills in the team, ie. organizing learning activities, create x-pollination opportunities.
A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:
Adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems. 
Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.
Uses considerable judgment to determine solution and seeks guidance on complex problems
Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor. May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture.
Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance
Decisions often impact the team in which they reside.
Manages small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.
University degree or Master in Economics
Advanced level of English

Work Experience:

• Economist with 5+ years research experience in global / large corporation or institution (either private, public or international organization) OR research and/or teaching assistant at an academic institution

• Programming skills in R

• Experience in statistics software like Stata and eViews

• Experience in Advanced Data Visualization


Technical and personal Skills

1) Econometric Analysis:

• Solid knowledge of econometric techniques is expected

• Knowledge of econometric/data science analysis tools such as R, Stata and SPSS

• Proficient in Tableau and R interface with Tableau


• Proficient in applied economics techniques

2) Database Management and Data Structuring

• Analyze, interpret and make sense of complex data on various formats (text, numeric, image, etc.) and provide solutions to data challenges

• Validate data flows and prepare ETL processes according to business requirements

• Incorporate business requirements into data science research design specifications.

• Develops data warehouse models and prepare reports for end users
