Job Description

The Talent Planning Initiatives Lead will:

• Support the Global Talent Planning lead on design implementation of Talent Pathways as we migrate from creating forecasts to using forecasts to support our people and our business.

• Support Talent Planning tools/release development to ensure talent planning business processes are appropriately captured/designed. Will require working closely with TSC Solution Architects, tool vendors, and HR design teams.

• Address any issues/questions related to the Planning and Forecasting sub-discipline that arise from service delivery team, DTE TSC Leads and help to mitigate risk

• Provide in depth RF&P knowledge through training, Community of Practice (CoP) meetings and initiative, and day to day tasks

• Point of contact for Planning and Forecasting Center of Expertise (CoE) and integration points across TSC, HR, and Finance functions

• Assist Discipline lead in customizing Planning and Forecasting programs and cross functional initiatives so that they reflect the appropriate geographical and business differentiation

• Program manage and implement global Planning and Forecasting programs supporting the GUs/ DTEs business strategies and/or address key business issues

• Lead Planning and Forecasting Initiatives / projects with support from SMEs such as DTE TSC Leads / Forecasting Leads

• Gather intelligence, analyzing trends and conducting research on industry developments and HR benchmarks

• Lead team of Associate Manager and Specialists supporting Planning and Forecasting initiatives:

o To maintain Sharepoint site, Stream Communities/Circles for knowledge sharing and collaboration

o Conduct and facilitate Quarterly community of practice calls and knowledge sharing activies as required

o Facilitate, escalate and respond to issues and risks from Forecasters, TSC Leads, etc. in a timely and appropriate manner

o Delegate and develop career growth opportunities via involvement in programs and  initiatives

• Establish self as an expert or key contributor

• Increase client/customer or user satisfaction

• Make/propose improvements to work

• Participate in cross TSC CoE initiatives as needed

Qualifications

Education Undergraduate degree or higher

Professional Qualifications Human Resource/ Service Delivery Management certification preferred

Work Experience •
 Experience with Forecasting and Planning preferred

• Experience with Talent Supply Chain functions

• Experience in a large, multi-national organization or consultancy preferred

• Experience with a global, multi-cultural, virtual work environment preferred

• Proven ability to work both independently and as a team member

• Able to help analyze complex problems and provide input into solutions

• Professional, quickly establishes personal credibility and demonstrates expertise

• Focuses on achieving project / program goals and objectives

• Recognizes and highlights potential issues and barriers during assignments

• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency with Excel and data analysis

• Excellent knowledge of other Microsoft office tools - Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project

• Sound organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills

• Ability to build, sustain and influence relationships, and develop networks as appropriate

 

 

Professional Skill Requirements

• A flexible attitude to working hours is necessary as the role is required to work effectively across multiple time zones

• As this is a global role,  the individual must be comfortable working remotely (i.e. via conference calls, etc.)

• Occasional international travel may be required

• FY Annual Planning Process Design and Implementation – setting Chargeability targets and headcount plans for Accenture, entities, and geographies

• Process development supporting NCC planning with Finance and Cost Management CoE

• Chargeability Restatement process and communication

• TA-TSC Collaboration for Joiner Forecasts

• RF&P Process Re-design and Simplification

• Forecast Masters – Capability Development Workshop

• Leadership planning and resource forecasting integration
