Vodafone: Business Transformation Program
As one of the global leaders in telecom, Vodafone’s senior management understood that to achieve the operational and organizational efficiency it wanted, would require a more integrated approach to business processes and a common technology platform for the global business..
The resulting program, "EVO," a project name short for "evolution," launched in 2006. It represents the largest IT transformation in Vodafone’s history. It involved the creation of a global model, based on a single integrated ERP solution from SAP with a common suite of applications. The goal was to ensure that Vodafone’s global business could benefit from high-quality, consistent information, greater value and lower costs across finance, human resources and supply chain functions.

Global Footwear and Apparel Company: Delivering an Enterprise Analytics Operating Model
Learn how advanced analytics capabilities helped a global apparel manufacturer achieve its growth strategy.
The footwear and apparel company found that its existing organization lacked the clear structure, alignment and accountability needed to put its analytics roadmap in motion at the pace required. Accenture helped to create an integrated analytics operating model and talent strategy that could scale advanced analytics effectively and efficiently across the company.
With efficient, digital processes in place, employees have more time for innovation and tackling higher-level priorities.
According to research we conducted with GE, nearly two-thirds of industrial companies said they use big data analytics to find and quickly solve issues with equipment or assets. This capability is key in making the transformation to becoming a fully digital operation.
The evolving Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) is also significantly upping the ante for industrial companies. With the data that the IIoT generates, companies can develop strategies for optimizing their products and operations.
Being digital goes beyond just being a computerized business or government. It opens the doors to creating new strategies, operating models, and products.
