In line with its strategic plan, Lottomatica wanted to expand its online presence by developing a virtual product portfolio. The client entered the Italian online betting and gaming market by launching a business-to-consumer Web portal with Accenture’s support.

How We Helped

The client entered the Italian online betting and gaming market by launching a business-to-consumer Web portal with Accenture’s support. Lottomatica wanted to expand its online presence by developing a virtual product portfolio. It would do so through new games, leveraging existing in-house capabilities as well as acquiring a number of gaming technology firms, introducing new channels such as mobile, interactive totems and interactive TV, and introducing a customer loyalty program.

Based on its previous experience of working with Accenture, Lottomatica once again chose to team with Accenture to help meet an aggressive time-to-market through quality implementation. Accenture’s support focused on the following key activities:

  • Benchmarking and business case definition

  • Design of product concepts, processes and business requirements

When Lottomatica acquired and merged with another major player in the gaming industry, Accenture supported the company during the sales closing process and post-merger integration.
