The alliance expands on Accenture and GE’s relationship announced in 2012 with the establishment of Taleris—a joint venture company between GE Aviation and Accenture dedicated to providing airlines and cargo carriers around the world with Intelligent Operations services to predict, prevent and recover from operational disruptions.
Intelligent Operations services use integrated tools such as performance data, prognostics, recovery and planning optimization solutions to improve operational efficiency. Taleris' technologies and services are OEM and equipment agnostic—able to provide capabilities across all airframes and systems.
The Intelligent Operations service developed by Taleris is built upon technology assets and airline operational expertise from both GE and Accenture. From GE, we leverage advanced prognostics technologies—based on artificial Accenture and GE have formed a strategic global alliance to develop technology and analytics applications that help companies across a range of industries take advantage of the massive amounts of industrial strength big data that is generated through their intelligence and behavioral science—that have been in use in military and civil applications for over 20 years. From Accenture, we leverage advanced planning optimization and recovery technologies—based on operations research—that have been in use in commercial airlines for 20 years.
