We combined Accenture technology with the Fundación Entreculturas (Fe y Alegría in Latin America, ECCA Radio in Spain, Pedro Arrupe Bachelor in Mexico and Jesuits Refugees Service in Africa) network to create an innovative, market-oriented virtual learning program for disadvantaged young people in more than 20 countries across Latin America, Europe and Africa.
Together, we are leveraging our Emplea+ digital learning platform to skill students at more than 500 schools, and have developed a job placement service to connect participants with local employers.
To date, our partnership has led to:
In addition to teaching Dibenni computer programming, Fundación Entreculturas helped Dibenni understand how to work with a team, be assertive and take responsibility. These new skills helped her find a job implementing human resources programs for large companies in Mexico.
Daniela’s IT training through Fundación Entreculturas in Mexico helped her learn what to expect in a work environment and how to manage her professional responsibilities, enabling her to find and keep a job. She now works in cloud marketing.
“Combining Accenture’s technology capabilities with the Fundación Entreculturas network, enabled us to create an innovative, market-oriented virtual learning program for young people with limited resources.”
