Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves developing and configuring software systems tailored to meet specific requirements, either managing the entire process or focusing on particular phases within the product lifecycle. The role includes applying a comprehensive understanding of various technologies, methodologies, and tools to effectively support clients, projects, or organizational entities. Collaboration and problem-solving are integral throughout the day, ensuring that software solutions align with project goals and client expectations while adapting to evolving needs and challenges.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components.
- Maintain clear and thorough documentation of development processes and configurations.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance when necessary.
- Continuously evaluate and improve software performance and reliability.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in PTC Windchill.
- Experience with software configuration and lifecycle management tools related to PTC Windchill.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices.
- Ability to work effectively within collaborative team environments and contribute to technical discussions.
- Understanding of integration techniques and software customization within product lifecycle management systems.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in PTC Windchill.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
