About Michael

Michael is Accenture's senior managing director for Capital Markets, responsible for the industry group's overall vision and strategy, investment priorities and supporting network of alliance partners.

With 25 years of experience in the capital markets industry, Michael has been a leader, investor and advisor, offering insight and advice to boards and c-suite executives. He has implemented complex global business agendas with bottom-line results ranging from $1B in revenue to $2B in cost-improvement.

Michael joined Accenture in 2017 to lead the company’s global Wealth Management and Asset Management businesses. Prior to joining Accenture, Michael was a senior partner of Asset Management and global leader of Wealth Management at PwC. Before PwC, he was a partner at Broadhaven Capital, responsible for leading the firm’s strategy and corporate governance services for investment banking clients. He has also held leadership roles at Bridgewater Associates and the Boston Consulting Group.

Michael has been recognized as a member of the Global 100 Irish Business Leaders and has been cited in leading industry publications. He has degrees in Economics from the London School of Economics and an MBA in Corporate Strategy and International Management from the University of Hartford. He has also undertaken advanced professional training at the California Institute of Technology. Michael is based in New York.
