At base, the Systems Integration Lab is addressing a single grand challenge: How do we drive down the cost of systems delivery by 30 to 50 percent over the next five years while maintaining overall quality? Answering this question means considering how to assemble and manage large development teams across cultures and time zones.

The Systems Integration Lab is already producing innovative solutions that are helping developers meet these challenges:

• Accenture Requirements Analysis Tool: This tool improves the clarity and quality of the requirements documentation by enforcing a combination of good practices for requirements, Accenture’s proprietary standards and procedures, and industry-specific practices.
  
  
• Accenture Code Quality Tool: This new tool improves the quality of code and reduces testing effort by automating the code review process.
  
  
• Test Script Repair Assistant: Automated testing is an invaluable new tool in reducing the cost of large systems efforts. The Test Script Repair Assistant improves the quality of systems integration initiatives by guiding test engineers in repairing and evolving test scripts as the corresponding applications are updated.
