Abstract: Successful internet retailers so far have focused mainly on media products such as books and CDs. Part of their success can be attributed to the fact that they allow the buyer to easily preview the product in the comforts of their homes before buying. For sellers of large, physical items, the Internet does not offer any equivalent means of product representation. In our prototype, we use AR technologies to allow a potential buyer to preview physical products in the home.
