Members of Accenture's Institute for Health & Public Service Value convened a small group of health experts to explore the key issues linked to the creation of public value in health services in the United States. During these discussions, we identified key research themes that are relevant to policy makers, professionals and practitioners involved in shaping and delivering health services throughout the country.

In particular, this group discussed and focused on the barriers faced by those who develop and employ outcome-focused management practices in health services and brainstormed what type of research and analysis the Institute could undertake to catalyze action and movement toward outcome management in health service provision.
