The Accenture Institute for Health & Public Service Value examines consumer information on health care in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Germany and New Zealand.
Our purpose was to identify how well citizens are supported by information when they make choices about their use of the health care services in their respective countries.
The study considered information provision to consumers in five important areas of health care: access, coverage, cost to patient, quality of care and wellness. We present the findings of each country both comparatively and individually, with a full discussion of the features of each system’s approach to consumer information.
