Outlook Journal, October 2005
Outlook is the primary vehicle Accenture uses to share its best new thinking with C-suite executives and senior government officials around the world. For the past two years, it is also where we have showcased the results of this company's ongoing research program into the nature and characteristics of high performance.
But print, obviously, isn't the only medium for accessing ideas and insights from Accenture. Outlook Online connects people with a wealth of additional information and serves as an electronic forum for high-performance business.
Outlook Online offers Outlook journal and Outlook Special Edition content in an electronic format; this includes downloadable PDFs of all articles. Outlook Online's comprehensive Article Archive allows readers to search all issues of Outlook and its sister publications—alphabetically by article title, as well as by issue, subject, industry, geography, publication type and frequently published authors.
One of the most useful tools for online readers is the Related Links section, which can connect them easily to additional articles and resources on similar topics available elsewhere on the Accenture website. And the About the Authors section links the authors of our articles to their respective Industries and Services sections on the site.
Outlook Online also offers Web-only content. Outlook Point of View, which appears bimonthly, features short articles that focus on strategic business issues and include actionable recommendations. Another exclusively online feature is My Outlook, an electronic newsletter that can be personalized for each reader by tailoring the content to highlight specific industries and subjects. (To subscribe to My Outlook, go to www.accenture.com/myoutlook.)
But the online feature we're most excited about debuts with this issue of Outlook. Thanks to the multimedia environment of the Internet, readers can experience an interactive companion piece to this issue's article on predictive insight. Using a combination of video, photos, voice-over narration and text, this interactive feature allows readers to navigate the online companion piece in a variety of ways.
There are two easy ways to take advantage of the ideas and information available on Outlook Online—via the Accenture.com homepage or at www.accenture.com/Outlook. I encourage you to log on.
