The Accenture Institute for Health & Public Service Value is a research organization dedicated to promoting high performance in the health care sector and in public service delivery, policymaking and governance.
Meet Our Team
Composed of a small team and an active network of thought leaders and experienced Accenture executives, the Institute undertakes and commissions research; produces publications on good practice in the health sector and in public service; develops practical methods of applying the concepts of public value; and presents events to bring together and promote discussion among public managers and stakeholders in the health, government, academic, nonprofit and private sectors.

Greg Parston, director of the Accenture Institute for Health & Public Service Value
Dr. Parston has consulted widely with top managers, focusing on governance, leadership, strategy and change and has worked as a manager in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. He received his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan and his PhD at the University of London.

Rob Coffey, senior researcher at the Accenture Institute for Health & Public
Service Value
Prior to joining the Institute, Mr. Coffey was a researcher and consultant at the Office for Public Management, working with a range of public sector clients in central and local government, as well as healthcare and voluntary and community sector organizations. Mr. Coffey holds a degree in Law and an MA in Politics from the University of Warwick.

Kristian G. Larsen, researcher at the Accenture Institute for Health & Public Service Value
Kristian joined Accenture’s consulting practice in 2007. Prior to joining the Institute, he worked with clients in the natural resources and consumer goods industries. Kristian currently is involved in several research projects on a wide variety of topics related to public services. Kristian also has experience as an information associate, editor and research journalist. He has undergraduate degrees in economics, business administration and political science. He also holds a master’s degree in European Political Economy from the London School of Economics.

Lisa M. Larsen, director of operations at the Accenture Institute for Health & Public Service Value
Ms. Larsen has worked with a wide range of public service agencies in central and local government, health, policing, education, voluntary and community organizations and socially responsible businesses in Europe. Ms. Larsen has Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in political science and public administration, both from the University of Copenhagen.

Julie McQueen, director of research at the Accenture Institute for Health & Public Service Value
Prior to joining the Institute, Ms. McQueen headed Accenture's Government research capability within the organization's consulting practice. She has led numerous multi-country studies involving government organizations in areas including health, welfare, tax and revenue, education, justice and public safety, and brings an in-depth knowledge of global public sector issues. Ms. McQueen has a Master of Arts degree in economics from the University of Aberdeen.

Giles Randle, researcher at the Accenture Institute for Health & Public Service Value
Mr. Randle joined the Institute in September 2008, having spent a year working in Accenture’s consulting practice. Prior to joining the company, he interned at a think tank where he conducted research into the social, economic and political drivers that are responsible for conflict, political instability and state failure around the world. During his time with the Institute, Mr. Randle has concentrated on supporting the Institute’s ongoing Global Cities Forum and Multi-Polar World research. Mr. Randle holds a master’s degree in International Relations from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland.
