Accenture recognizes International Women’s Day—a United Nations-designated celebration—with innovative employee and client events around the world. In 2011, Accenture challenged participants to “reinvent opportunity”—to seek new ways to enhance and enrich their personal and professional growth.

Accenture regularly conducts research on topics that have an impact on women in business, including skills readiness, stretch roles and resilience. A recent study, “Reinvent Opportunity: Looking Through a New Lens,” released as part of Accenture’s 2011 celebration of International Women’s Day, explores career satisfaction, aspirations and factors for career advancement, and examines how professionals are creating opportunities to achieve job satisfaction.
