
Accenture’s annual celebration of International Women’s Day, now in its seventh year, has become widely recognized as part of the company’s ongoing commitment to an inclusive and diverse culture, which is a key ingredient in helping our clients and company achieve high performance. International Women’s Day is designated by the United Nations to recognize women’s contributions to the world’s economy.
In March 2011, Accenture people and clients at 162 locations in 40 countries—from Bangalore to Buenos Aires and from Barcelona to Brisbane—were challenged to “reinvent opportunity”: to rethink how to use tools and opportunities that will help them grow both personally and professionally.
