Vishal Ratti is the Canada healthcare IT lead for Accenture. He is responsible for healthcare technology capabilities and client engagements in Canada.
Mr. Ratti has spent nearly 15 years at Accenture working with hundreds of healthcare institutions and government agencies. He currently directs Accenture’s efforts for the Access to Care initiative and is implementing solutions to improve hospital capacity, levels of care, wait times and efficiency across Canada.
He was a key contributor to the design and roll-out of one of Ontario’s largest health IT projects – connecting nearly 120 hospital systems. He has also implemented a number of healthcare IT systems and providential registries.
Mr. Ratti is co-chair of the Canada Health Informatics Association (COACH) taskforce on capacity issues in healthcare. He has also published numerous articles in trade journals, including Longwood’s Electronics Healthcare and COACH Journal.
Mr. Ratti’s leadership in healthcare has been recognized by the industry. He was the recipient of the 2007 Canadian Information Productivity Award, “Diamond Award of Excellence” and received the 2007 Canadian Healthcare Firm of the Year Award, from COACH and Information Technology Association of Canada. He is a member of the Canadian Leadership Team for Accenture. Mr. Ratti lives in the Toronto area with his wife and two sons.
