Vidya S. Byanna is the executive director-Global Infrastructure for Accenture
Vidya "Vid" S. Byanna is the executive director responsible for the company’s internal IT infrastructure capabilities. Reporting to Accenture’s chief information officer, Mr. Byanna oversees Accenture’s worldwide technology infrastructure, including voice and data communications networks, data centers, customer support, workstations, IT security, and service management.
Mr. Byanna also has responsibility for driving the implementation of IT products and services to support Accenture’s Mergers & Acquisition organization. He has received numerous accolades for his strong leadership. Mr. Byanna was named to Diversity MBA magazine’s 2009 Top 50 Under 50 Emerging and Executive Leaders, Computerworld magazine’s Premier 100 IT Leaders for 2008 and CIO magazine’s 2007 Ones to Watch list.
Mr. Byanna grew up in Chicago. In 1985, he received his bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Illinois, Urbana. In 1987, he received his master’s in computer science from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Mr. Byanna worked at AT&T Bell Laboratories prior to joining Accenture. He is married with two children and enjoys reading, exercising, spending time with his family and learning about yoga and spirituality.
