John L. Del Santo is Accenture’s Senior Managing Director – Global Insurance, and is responsible for setting the industry group's overall vision, strategy, investment priorities and client relationships.
Prior to his current role, he was the managing director of Accenture’s growth and strategy in Financial Services, and before that led Accenture’s insurance business in the United States. He has also worked with several large financial institutions served by Accenture’s Financial Services group.
Mr. Del Santo has more than 20 years of experience in developing, managing and deploying large-scale technology systems and business processes for some of the world’s leading insurers, including property and casualty, life and multi-line insurance companies. His expertise lies in claims, underwriting and customer service.
Mr. Del Santo joined Accenture in 1986. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in commerce from Santa Clara University.
