Senior Managing Director—Technology Delivery
Bhaskar Ghosh is senior managing director—Technology Delivery with overall responsibility for Accenture’s global delivery capability in technology, and for advancing delivery innovation and productivity through the use of intelligent tooling and other automation. In addition, he leads Accenture’s Application Services business, which includes both systems integration and application outsourcing. On September 1, 2014*, he will become group chief executive—Technology Delivery and join the company’s Global Management Committee.
Previously, Mr. Ghosh led Accenture’s Delivery Centers for Technology in India and was the global application outsourcing lead. He was instrumental in building and managing Accenture’s IT infrastructure service delivery capabilities within the Delivery Centers for Technology.
Before joining Accenture in 2003, Mr. Ghosh was vice president and global head of IT infrastructure management services at Infosys. Earlier in his career, he held several senior positions with Philips in India, where he worked extensively with the consumer electronics industry.
Mr. Ghosh is currently based in Bangalore, India. He holds a bachelor of science degree from Calcutta University, a master’s degree in business administration from Calcutta University and a Ph.D. in business process management from Utkal University in India.
*On July 8, 2014, Accenture announced that Marty Cole, group chief executive—Technology, will retire from the company on August 31, 2014. On September 1, 2014, Paul Daugherty, chief technology officer, will join the Global Management Committee, and Bhaskar Ghosh will become group chief executive—Technology Delivery and join the Global Management Committee.
