Newsweek's fourth annual Green Rankings included Accenture in 2012 as No. 8 in the US 500 and No. 36 on its Global 500 list. In the Information Technology & Services sector, Accenture ranked No. 3 in the US and No. 6 globally. Additionally, Accenture ranked No. 7 on The Greenest Tech Companies in the US list. Green Rankings evaluates the environmental performance, policies and reputation of the 500 largest US corporations and 500 biggest global companies.

In 2012, Accenture was included, for the fourth consecutive year, among the CDP 500--the largest companies by market capitalization included in the FTSE Global Equity Index Series--and, for the first time, was included on the CDP S&P 500. Accenture scored 93 out of 100 and a performance score of B (same as 2011). We are also recognized on the S&P 500 Carbon Disclosure Leadership Index (CDLI), which features 53 companies with the highest disclosure scores (top 10 percent of companies) from the S&P 500.
