Fortune Magazine's "America's Most Admired Companies" (2005): For the second consecutive year, Accenture has been ranked No. 1 in the "Computer & Data Services" industry category in Fortune magazine's list of America's Most Admired Companies. Companies are ranked on eight key reputation attributes: innovation, social responsibility, employee talent, management, investment value, use of assets, financial soundness and products/services. Accenture ranked first in its industry group in all eight attribute categories.
Fortune Global 500 (2005): For the fourth consecutive year, Accenture has been named to the Fortune Global 500. The ranking, which is based solely on revenue, places Accenture at number 455—up five places from last year. In the "Computer Services and Software" category, Accenture maintained its 2004 ranking at No. 4.
Annex Research's top-performing global technology services company (2005): In a ranking by Annex Research—a market intelligence and computer industry consulting firm—involving the world's leading seven technology services companies, Accenture took the gold medal, or first place, for overall performance. Researchers evaluated eight areas, including revenue growth, market share and sales productivity. This is the sixth time in the last 10 years that Accenture has captured the gold.
Harvard Business Review's "breakthrough ideas" list (2005): Harvard Business Review salutes the Accenture Institute for High Performance Business for its innovative initiatives in the article, "The HBR List: Breakthrough Ideas for 2005." In its fourth year, the list is a collection of emerging ideas most likely to revolutionize how companies manage resources and assets, develop strategy and compete in today's business market.
DiversityInc's "25 Noteworthy Companies" List (2005): Accenture has been named to DiversityInc's "25 Noteworthy Companies" list. The magazine, which focuses on the business benefits of diversity, recognizes companies annually for best practices and achievements in diversity. This is the first time Accenture has been included in the listing.
Business Week ranked Accenture 51th most valuable global brand (2005): For the fourth consecutive year, Accenture has been named to the Business Week 100 Top Global Brands. The ranking, which identifies the leading brands according to dollar value, placed Accenture at No. 51, owing to the company's 6 percent increase in brand value over last year.
Accenture honored with 20 SAP Pinnacle Awards: Accenture has been honored with 20 SAP Pinnacle Awards (more than any other systems integrator) in recognition of its commitment to partnering with SAP. For the past three years, Accenture has won SAP’s most prestigious award for overall contribution. First launched by SAP in 2004, the SAP Pinnacle Awards Program recognizes the technology, services and software partners who have excelled in developing their relationship with SAP by providing quality solutions and services to joint customers.
Accenture recognized as one of the "100 companies that count" (2005): Accenture has been recognized as one of the most respected and responsible organizations in the United Kingdom in three recent surveys. For the second consecutive year, Accenture has been recognized as one of the "100 companies that count" for its commitment to responsible business practices in the Business in the Community Corporate Responsibility Index. In addition, the High Fliers 2005 Survey has ranked Accenture as the No. 1 employer of choice in the consulting sector. High Fliers Research, in association with The Times, conducted the survey, which is the largest final year student survey in the United Kingdom.
Accenture named one of the Top 25 Companies for Enterprise Learning (2005): Accenture has been named one of the top 24 Companies for Enterprise Learning by the American Society for Training and Development as part of its second annual BEST Award competition. The society's awards committee, aided by industry experts, looks for evidence that an organization has gone beyond common measures of excellence and uses learning as a strategic business tool. The American Society for Training and Development is a leading association of workplace learning and performance professionals. Its 70,000 members and associates come from more than 100 countries and thousands of organizations.
