The European Centre for Government Transformation hosts a series of policy roundtables that explore thematic issues across government, such as in the areas of employment, public finances, digital government and procurement, looking at the challenges, opportunities and solutions around some of these hot topics facing public service organisations. The roundtables unite prominent keynote speakers, senior civil servants within public agencies, and subject matter experts within their respective fields for debate and networking on such topics as getting people back to work, ensuring sustainability of public finances and using new technologies to transform services. The ultimate goal is to develop a peer community of practitioners, and start a working dialogue that looks at innovative solutions to these challenges.
