Rocky ThurstonManaging Director
Rocky is the Client Account Lead for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). He brings expertise in finance, operations, and strategic leadership. He has worked as a software engineer, project/program manager, and client account lead in a number of Federal Government areas including Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and Civilian Agencies. In recent years, Rocky has used his experience to oversee high-profile projects for companies and to lead organizations to deliver and grow services on mission critical programs.
Rocky is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and has an MBA from the University of West Florida. He is also a certified Project Management Professional

Kenny LawhornManaging Director
Kenny is a Managing Director at Accenture Federal Services, LLP, a wholly owned subsidiary of Accenture, LLP. He has been with the firm since 1987 and has primarily been responsible for sales and delivery of complex software integration projects for a number of large commercial and Government clients.
Since 2004, he has been working at the Department of Homeland Security, where his responsibilities include helping clients define IT strategies and leading software delivery efforts to modernize critical infrastructure and system applications used as part of the nation’s border security.
Kenny’s clients at the Department of Homeland Security include US-VISIT, where he led a large software delivery team in Accenture’s efforts to modernize the world’s largest biometric system. He is currently the Client Account Lead for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and the United States Coast Guard (USCG).
At TSA, Kenny is leading a large software delivery team in Accenture’s efforts to modernize the agency’s legacy credential management systems. The Technology Infrastructure Modernization (TIM) program will provide an integrated identity management and credentialing production capability that will connect people and information to help facilitate secure travel and trade as well as improve customer service for citizens applying for credentials.

Kate Abrey is a management consulting executive with Accenture Federal Services. Kate serves as the Deputy of the Accenture Federal Services Talent & Organization practice which focuses on partnering with the federal government to solve the most challenging issues around human resources, change and organizational alignment. Kate has extensive experience helping federal agencies improve organizational effectiveness, process improvement and implement continuous improvement programs.
Prior to joining Accenture, Kate worked as a Program Manager in the U.K. for Ingeus where she helped to drive high performance welfare-to-work programs.
Kate earned her Master’s degree from The London School of Economics and Political Science and completed her undergraduate education at Georgetown University.
