“City1Tap” Digital City App
Developed by Accenture and RCS MediaGroup, the “City1Tap” application is an interactive city guide to Milan that aggregates smart and adaptive information on city services, news, shopping and entertainment, including local deals, loyalty programs and other consumer offerings. The app is built on mobile-enabled platforms, incorporating video and other interactive web content with fully integrated social media components, in a consumer-friendly format. For City1Tap, free to download on iOS and Android, Accenture and RCS Media Group were awarded Best Mobile Innovation for ‘Smart Cities’ at the 2014 Global Mobile Awards held at the GSMA Mobile World Congress.
Digital Retail: Augmented Reality Shopping Experience
Accenture presents a mobile app that incorporates augmented reality into traditional shopping experiences. This concept brings together the social graph, customer behavioral patterns and customer context to provide a personalized in-store shopping experience. Using the customer's social graph alongside augmented reality, the app provides insights into the shopping activities of friends, networks and people with similar social profiles, in order to help the customer make a purchase decision.
