In the wake of the Hurricane Katrina devastation, Accenture offered to work with the Louisiana Association of Nonprofits to help them achieve high performance, and strengthen its ability to meet its challenges. Aside from assisting with immediate recovery efforts, Accenture leveraged its business acumen and leadership to help the association develop a strategic plan to leverage more of its affiliated members' capabilities.
Accenture helped the Louisiana Association of Nonprofits rethink its business model, creating a menu of back-office capability-building services delivered by new field offices. These services aim to enable nonprofits themselves to focus more on their missions.
