Accenture was responsible for technical architecture, consulting, Linux-based device driver development, vendor hardware adaptation layer, audio/video codecs, graphics and camera.
In addition, Accenture:
- Proposed an end-to-end approach beginning with an analysis and a knowledge transition (KT) phase.
- Provided KT to original equipment manufacturer (OEM) engineers followed by a joint KT phase with the chipset vendor on the reference architecture and source code study.
- Identified the changes required in the drivers and components and implemented changes for the new Qualcomm chipset-based smartphone platforms.
- Distributed teams with complementary skilled resources in multimedia (audio/video/camera) and base port (BSP, boot and device drivers) and Android framework.
