Accenture helps Renfe Operadora, the national network of Spanish Railways, develop and implement distribution and reservation system renewal and strategic commercial capabilities.
Accenture has worked with Renfe to implement the strategic commercial requirements for its distribution and reservation system, enabling the rail company to improve customer satisfaction, increase ticket sales, reduce costs and facilitate strategic growth.
Accenture’s on-site and off-shore systems integration and technology development teams worked with Renfe to provide program management, design, build and deployment of the commercial distribution and reservation capabilities to cover Renfe’s key business requirements.
After the successful renewal of its legacy distribution and reservation system to a new multi-channel platform, Renfe needed to develop commercial capabilities for the new system. An important component in Renfe’s modernization process was the overhaul of its outdated distribution and reservation system.
To meet strategic business requirements, Renfe needed to develop and implement new commercial requirements for the distribution and reservation system. This would involve ensuring the delivery of the sales, channel distribution, booking and reservations capabilities to the entire commercial organization within tight deadlines.
