This large mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) entered India with a strategy to provide local customers with products and services consisting of a wide range of handsets and distinctive value added services (VAS) offerings at attractive tariffs. Being a new entrant to this market, the MVNO needed the expertise of a third party to test the user experience of its VAS services.
The company wanted to have a lean structure but lacked expertise in usability engineering, and wanted to outsource pre-launch user experience testing of all the VAS platforms and services.
