Accenture Mobility Business Integration Services developed an iPad mobile device application that supports personal financial advisors across the sales process for a major Italian bank. This allowed the bank to increase personal financial advisor effectiveness, eliminate cost of paper management, minimize financial advisor rework and repeat trips between the office and the client and resolve open audit issues related to the sales process.
The client is an integrated distributor of financial, banking and insurance products in Italy. The bank’s personal financial advisors rejected the adoption of laptop computers for client meetings and preferred to rely on printed pamphlets and proposals. This approach was commercially less effective and costly to manage. More important, bank management had some audit issues with the way the financial advisors conducted negotiations, particularly with regard to transparency with clients and risk of fraud.

Provided the ability to take a real-time snapshot of customer accounts and incorporate this information into a presentation highlighting bank investment products.
Designed an HTML5 based solution portable to Android and other operating systems.
Built an app based on multi-device architecture to avoid vendor lock out.
