Global Pharmaceutical Company: Application Managed Services – Project Snapshot

Facing significant pressure to reduce costs, one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies has launched a simplification program to increase efficiency in the way that IT application support and development services are delivered globally within the organization.

As part of this standardization program, Accenture is providing two application management services to the company: corporatewide testing center of excellence services; and Microsoft, SharePoint and Documentum support and enhancement services. By using a new, innovative managed services delivery model, Accenture will help the client simplify and streamline its application management landscape enabling it to significantly increase efficiency and lower costs, and ensure consistent outcomes at fixed price points.
