Accenture is helping Allianz UK to consolidate a variety of technology systems into one robust insurance platform.
Allianz Insurance plc in the UK is one of the UK’s leading general insurers. It is part of Allianz Group, one of the world’s largest insurance providers, with more than 151,000 employees and operations in about 70 countries.
Allianz UK sells a wide variety of personal and commercial insurance products using a number of different technology platforms, including several instances of discrete TIA insurance systems. Accenture worked in conjunction with Allianz to scope out the project requirements and then execute the implementation phase of the project. The team used a hybrid methodology that incorporated best practices from both companies. Accenture developed a catalog of reusable assets that could be used as building blocks throughout the implementation, reducing the timeline and the budget.
