U.S. Department of the Treasury Management Reform Initiative (MRI)

The Treasury Management Reform Initiative (MRI) Program Support and Operational Excellence Capability Building blanket purchase agreement (BPA) offers a range of Accenture management consulting services to all Treasury Department offices and bureaus. The primary objective of the MRI program is to improve processes and practices to improve productivity, and increase customer satisfaction while lowering cost. The MRI program will also facilitate the transformation of the Treasury to a strategy-guided, customer-focused and metrics-driven problem solving organization.

This BPA provides services for capability to design process improvement projects, including expertise in risk management, project management, Lean Six Sigma, and analytical data analysis in support of decision making and problem solving.

Through this contract vehicle, Accenture is able to bring strategic consulting skills to all areas of the Treasury. The scope supports activities such as:

• Program development and management
  
• Development of strategic goals and objectives
  
• Long-term transformation programs
  
• Structured communications, project prioritization and selection criteria for implementation, including estimated benefits, performance management, project implementation leadership, detailed project planning, technical support and hands-on leadership of design and problem solving
  
• Coaching and mentoring of change agents and front line employees
  
• Capability building for sustainable continuation of program execution
  
• Appropriate technical training for senior management, champions, change agents and front-line employees
