Project Delivery Metrics—Focus for the Project Delivery Metrics is for controlled execution of a project lifecycle from managing against workplans to controlling the quality of the final deliverables. This is done by utilizing earned value metrics with more stringent criteria than typically used by industry. Also, focusing on metrics related to key delivery processes such as requirements management, peer reviews, defect management ensure engagements execute with a high degree of control and quality.
Service Delivery Metrics—The Service Delivery Metrics provide a core set of metrics that most outsourcing environments need to track to effectively manage service levels, resource utilization, service quality and related parameters.
Custom Metrics—To address unique business processes and environments, our engagement leadership together with our clients determine any additional custom metric that should be implemented to ensure success. These metrics are grounded in the overall business goals and detailed with processes and tools to ensure successful capture, analysis and reporting on a regular basis.
Reporting—Accenture has a number of reporting solutions that are used based on the need of a given engagement. Reporting happens also at different levels to address the needs of the various stakeholders:
Engagement Team Delivery Personnel—Primarily utilizes reporting built into our Accenture Delivery Tools (ADT) to track the performance of the key delivery metrics related to the delivery processes.
Engagement Team Leadership (Accenture and Client)—Utilizes both ADT reports as well as Engagement Status Reports to track progress.
Accenture Portfolio Leadership—Uses monthly status report to monitor progress and take corrective action when required.
