Our research goals are two-fold:
- To develop new kinds of algorithms for analyzing large amounts of data from both traditional (retail transactions, Web) as well as emerging sources (enterprise data, sensors, multimedia feeds, and other forms of unstructured data).
- To invent new applications that are enabled by the ability to learn from and take business actions based on this data.
